Help Center

Hi! How can we help you?

Where to start with MartialWave, the software for managing martial arts and combat sports?

To help you get started with the MartialWave system, we have prepared a short guide on how to register the initial data and the correct order of using the system. Remember that there is a video tutorial that provides a quick and general overview of how it works!

  1. The first thing to do is to edit or create the FIGHTS that will be offered at your academy. To do this, go to the RECORDS menu > FIGHTING DISCIPLINES and edit, delete, or create disciplines. For each discipline, you should enter the specific graduations, as well as the number of attendances required for the student to take their exams.
  2. After registering the fights, you can register new instructors who will be needed for the class schedules and, if necessary, their REMUNERATION, remembering that it always applies from the day of registration forward.
  3. Another registration that can be done is for the PLACES where classes are held. You will also find this in the RECORDS menu.
  4. Once you have the instructors, fights, and locations, you can create the CLASS SCHEDULES, which are the actual class times. Remember that the schedule can be either a CLOSED CLASS (set days) or a BY FREQUENCY (multiple independent days).
  5. In the FINANCIAL menu, you should create or edit the bank accounts and categories in this section as well. It’s also advisable to set up ADMINISTRATIVE registrations (such as entities, suppliers, etc.) to handle expense/revenue entries and scheduling.
  6. After all of this is set up, you can register the STUDENTS. Within each registration, there will be a + button in each area: first, select the class schedule they will enroll in; then, input the student’s graduation in the respective martial art. In the TUITION menu, you should then create a CONTRACT so the system can generate the monthly charges.
  7. Once everything is registered, you can use the LESSON RECORDS to record what happened in each class, such as student attendance and what was covered in the training. These attendances will count towards the requirements for each belt, allowing the student to be eligible for an EXAM once they reach the required number of classes as per the Fight registration.
  8. When a student makes a payment, mark it as received in their charge in the TUITION menu, and this amount will automatically be recorded in the financial section.
